I cannot see a submit button on my project

Troubleshooting Guide: Unable to Submit Project

Are you having trouble finding the submit button for your project submission? Don't worry; we're here to help you troubleshoot the issue! Below are some common reasons why you might not be able to see the submit button and steps you can take to resolve them:

1. You Haven't Created a Submission Project:

If you haven't created a submission project yet, you won't see the option to submit your project. Ensure that you've initiated a submission project and not a workspace project.

Once you've created a submission project, you should be able to see an option to submit the project on your project page.

2. Your Account Type Isn't Student:

Only users with a student account type can submit projects. To confirm your account type:
  1. Click on your profile icon located at the top right of the screen.
  2. If you have a student account, you should see the "My Classes" option in the dropdown menu.

If you're uncertain about your account type, you can request confirmation by emailing us at oas@projectboard.zohodesk.com.

3. Submission Deadline Has Passed:

If you can't see the submit button on your project, it's possible that the submission deadline for the fair has already passed, and submissions are closed.

Please note the submission deadlines for the following events:
Buckeye Science and Engineering Fair: Submissions are closed.
District Science Day: Submission deadline is February 26.
Ohio STEP: Submission deadline is February 26.

Steps to Take:

Double-check that you have created a submission project.
Confirm that your account type is set to "Student."
Ensure that you are within the submission deadline for the respective event.

If you've followed these steps and are still unable to submit your project, or if you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at oas@projectboard.zohodesk.com. We're here to assist you every step of the way!
